The Comox Valley Farmers' Market Association was started in 1992 by a group
of farmers to provide a venue for selling their products and to provide the
community with an opportunity to learn about local agriculture. The Comox Valley
Farmers' Market Association is a non-profit society and is registered as such
with the Province of British Columbia.
If you wish to apply to be a member of the market, please read the following
Constitution and Bylaws of the Association and the
Market Rules and Fees to ensure that
your product fits within our guidelines before sending the
Application Form.

The purposes of the society are:
2.1 To promote the economic health of the local farm community, and
2.2 To provide quality locally grown farm products, and
2.3 To educate the community in agricultural issues, and
2.4 To promote local agriculture.
BYLAWS
The bylaws of the society are those set out in Schedule B to the Society Act,
with the following variations, deletions and additions:
Replace Part 2, Sub 5 with the following:5(1)Every member shall uphold the
constitution and comply with these bylaws.5(2)Every member shall follow market
rules as set by the membership from time to time.
