Farmer for Feet

Over the holidays our farmers and our customers did something amazing.  We set aside our own holiday pressures to buy & knit socks for those experiencing homelessness.  Socks are the number one most requested non food item at shelters.  As farmers we know all about wet feet and wanted to be sure that others could have some dry socks to put on after our wet rains.

Downtown is bustling with activity the weekend of Feb 3.  The World Community Film Festival is on and we are moving over to the Legion to make room for all their excitement.  Be sure to pop in, grab your groceries, body products, treats, coffee, cider, wine and spirits, then head over for a day of thought provoking films.  We are particularly proud of one film that features our vendor Arzeena Hamir and her family, of Amara Farm, who are part of Merville Organics.  Be sure to catch their film at 3 pm on Feb 3

New Hours

The Comox Valley Farmers' Market is back in 2018 with a focus on serving you!  You asked for a 9 am start and the farmers' said yes!  Please join us every Saturday from 9 - 1.   We are at the Native Son's Hall in the winter and then move outdoors to the exhibition grounds come mid April.
